I peer over the edge of the mighty, vast ship
The sea breeze bites back, its droplets hit my lip
The ice is abroad the sweet scenery
But something seems a little bit eerie
I feel no cold, my nimble fingers are warm
They grip the rail tight enough to survive a heavy storm
Like I can't be blown down, but yet I may
I wish to yell out, but there's nothing to say!
Then sparks flare up over a grassy view
My eyes grow wide as the volcano continues to spew
Out with magma, turn to lava, then the very next thing
I spy a towering lizard, the great Tyrant King!
Its roar pierces my ears, I hear a distant scream trill
I eye the beast with bulging eyes and know it's ready to kill
Even at a distance, I'm terrified for my sake
Until the King roars once more, and then I'm awake
The captain's distant yells ring across the ship,
I bolt out of bed and flee the cabin, cold air hits my lip
Over the ship I peer, the water had frozen to ice!
Sickening snaps and cracks scream 'The thing's about to slice!'
The air is brisk and frosty as can be, but I should not care
In a moment I'm down and the cold sea greets me, to which a breeze can not compare
My dream is dead, but this new nightmare is alive
So I sink my way down in a never-ending dive.

Un-named project
Hello. I'm brusselsprouthead also known as BSH. I'm currently writing a story and I'd love some critiquing. I.E. You need to describe somebody more, be more descriptive, etc. Alright lets begin.
**********************************
School. What do you think of when you hear the word school? Craggy old classrooms, teachers droning on and on, your classmates' antics, lunch period, or etc.? Now that you've got a picture in your head, imagine a school where 1804 seems new. Then put a very old, in fact old is used lightly, teacher that looks like she ate way too many cookies. I slightly turn my head to the left and I see my best friend, Leon, whose profile I can see perfectly. Shaggy firetruck red hair and a black streak across his zig-zagged bangs. His wonderfully sculpted face also includes a set of doe brown eyes and pale skin almost like a vampire. His body is lanky just like a cheetah's and he can fight like them, too.
"Miss Faira, maybe you can stop day dreaming and answer the question." I heard Miss Zuler bark at me, her voice snapping me out of my day dream. Miss Zuler never married and detests kids of all ages, which makes no sense to me since she teaches High school World History. "Um..." I murmured, " Can you repeat the question?" I heard some of the class snicker and Miss Zuler rolled her eyes, but in the corner of my eye I saw Leon shoot me a sympathetic look. " Leon," Miss Zuler once again barked, reminding me of a pit bull. " When did World War II begin?" Leon sighed then answered, "1939." Miss Zuler almost looking satisfied turned on her heel then started talking and didn't stop until the end of class.
When the bell finally rang, I was overjoyed until Tianna came my way. I prepared myself for a pithy comment. What would she so blatantly point out today? My hair? My body? My face? All of the above? Then hearing more footsteps coming my way, I once again joined brutal reality and saw the rest of the popular clique come my way. Tianna, the self-proclaimed head of the clique, was tall as a supermodel and just as skinny. On top of all of that, she has light blonde hair, baby blues, and wears skirts way too short and tees way too snug. I mentally visualized my head banging against a wall then managed to say in a slightly annoyed tone, " May I help you people?" Tianna replied in her soprano voice, " Yes we want you to go join a circus." Apparently, I'm bad at sorting jokes from badly made comments, because all of her entourage laughed. I shook it off then grabbed my backpack and hoisted it over my shoulder. I was just about to spin and leave when I heard Tianna say impersonating a baby's voice," Is wittle Fai storming out? Aww, how cute. " I was about to really hit my head on the wall when my instinct took over and I heard myself say, " Tianna, do you think I wanna here you squeak bad insults? No, just so your pea brain body can rest easy." Tianna looked stunned then she narrowed her eyes and said," You must want to fight." Instinct told me to run, but my body didn't respond. I watched in horror as I saw Tianna's fist come at me. I closed my eyes bracing for impact. A couple of beats later, I opened my eyes to see a tall figure holding Tianna's wrist. Looking up slowly, I saw firetruck red hair. "Leon." My head said.
********************************
Sorry, its longer but that's all I had on this paper. According to my classmate, she thinks its wonderful while I think its terrible. Hope you guys liked it and the reason I didn't describe Faira is because its also from Leon's point of view and he describes her. It's quite longer ( I've been writing is for 3 hrs total and have 6 pages.) but this is all I could bring home. Thanks for reading!!

COD-McDonald's PlayPlace Style ~ Ch. 1
I'm totally stealing Emily's McDonald's theme, but it should be okay. I don't play Call of Duty, but I've seen the trombone players play real-life COD in the band hall. XD (God save them!)
I scrambled up the purple slide, my quick fingers squeaking against its surface. I stepped onto the hard platform and adjusted my jacket before heading up the steps. I was now faced with a baffling decision. Holy ketchup. Should I take the red tunnel on the left, the green tunnel on the right, or the mystifying yellow tunnel? When I heard my friends burst through the doors to the PlayPlace, I chose quickly. I knew I was risking it, but I darted straight ahead into the yellow tunnel.
I crawled on my hands and knees through uncharted territory. When I was a kid, I had never gone down here. The big kids spread rumors about a partially closed off section with a big hole in it. Apparently there was just enough space to crawl in, but once inside you would fall out of the hole. Being slightly acrophobic, (and five) I naturally steered clear not only from that particular section, but also the whole yellow tunnel. After a few seconds, I had found it.
There was a wooden board erected to cover part of the big hole, oddly painted yellow to match its surroundings. No doubt its camouflage was to lure kids towards their untimely death. I knew I was taking a risk, but I slowly crawled over and peeked my head into the minimized entrance. Mango smoothie pulp! (I apoligize for the language.) There wasn't a hole! There was a platform perforated with diamond-shaped holes, as the platforms and steps had been, and at the end of this section and into the round bubble, there was regular yellow slide flooring. For some reason a part of the flooring had broken off, leaving the metal part underneath. Or maybe it was put there afterward because the flooring was damaged. Nevertheless, there was no black hole of doom. Suddenly, my lips formed into a smile. As long as they never found this place, I could share the rumor with my friends.
I dashed inside, then heard my friends' footsteps on the platform, whom all shrieked briefly when the rest of my team entered the PlayPlace. If I told them the rumor was true, they wouldn't check this area. This, and the overall epicness, made the closed off section a good hideout. I sat on the other side of the board while a couple of opponents ran to find their own hideouts and victims. However two girls, Camryn and Lacye, stood right outside my hiding spot, arguing over whether they should turn back and take to the red tunnel instead. I was about to make this decision for them. Slyly, I pointed my french fry gun out of the hole and fired. Two direct hits. I instinctively pulled my gun back out of sight, not spoiling the mystery. Shocked, Camryn and Lacye sprinted off to the red tunnel. Yep. Should've taken the red one.

Fic: Once Upon a Hamburger... 1/2
Hello there, citizens of Earth, Eternia, and pretty much everywhere else! If you are reading this, you're probably either...
A: Bored out of your wits.
B: A lover of Once Upon a Time, humor, and McDonald's!
C: You don't understand what you're reading.
Well, for all of you who don't really know what you're about to read, this is a random idea that I thought up as my sister created this blog. Suffice it to say, it's a Once Upon a Time parody story, although don't get me wrong, I love OUAT, I just couldn't resist writing this. ;D
Summary: Henry decides to take Emma to a new restaurant opening in Storybrooke- McDonald's!- to discuss Operation Cobra. Unfortunately, everyone and their third cousin twice removed seems to want to go there as well. Add a creepy stalker Regina, and what do you get? A parody fic full of strangeness and hamburgers!
~~~~~~
"Hey Mo-- Emma!" Henry yelled breathlessly as he ran up to his biological mother who was sulking around the streets of Storybrooke.
"What kid?" Emma grumbled unhappily. That stupid mysterious writer that came to town was making her mad. NOBODY kept secrets from Emma Swan and got away with it!
"Do you want to go to a new restaurant in town? I heard it's really cool! Plus we need to plan more of Operation: Cobra!" Henry asked excitedly, obviously not taking a hint that Emma was in a bad mood.
"Whatever." She muttered in a very OOC tone.
As Henry and Emma skipped and walked to the new fast food place, Regina -Who had been stalking Henry to see why he snuck out of her house- spotted them and gave her best signature Evil Queen glare to their backs. She hated when her son didn't tell her things. Especially things regarding that... person.
"Oh well. I suppose I'll just have to follow them and see what happens. Worst comes to worst, and I'll magically strangle her and take my son home." She grinned triumphantly but it was quickly replaced by a frown. "Why haven't I done that before..." She pondered with a scowl.
~~~~~~~
"Hey kid? I think someone's following us..." Emma whispered to Henry as they turned a corner.
"Well duh! I knew my mom would follow me, that's why we're going here!" He said with a melodramatic hand wave.
Emma was greeted by a large yellow "M" and gave a hugesigh.
"Kid, I hate McDonald's." She said in barely concealed disgust.
"Why?" Henry said in confusion. "No bother. We're here because my mother hates junk food. She says it's full of processed fat and crap like that." Henry said matter of factly.
"Crap? You've been listening to the mayor too much, Henry." Emma said with a raised eyebrow and then her eyes lit up.
"Regina hates this place? Sweet, I love McDonald's!"
PART 2 soon! xD
