  1. At first, I was like, "Why the heck would anyone name their character Lilith? After all, isn't that the name of a demon in Jewish mythology?" Then I read the tags...

Sounds like a super interesting story, kind of like one I've been planning (amongst my other stories... one of which will never get finished).

I hope you post it! After all, this isn't the MB where everything has to be "kid-friendly", or whatever crap Liz has said.

    1. It doesn't have to be kid-friendly? WOOHOO!

    2. Yeah, sorry about the whole naming thing. On my blog I made a post about her and Leila's names. I just really love the name. It's almost the only 'L' name I like. (In fact, Lily/Lilie and Layla/Leila are among my least favorites.) I just like the sound of it, and the whole 'demonic mythological terror' thing is a bit of a drawback. If I publish this book, I'm either going to offend people, or the publishers will ask me to change the name. :P That will be my cue to find another publisher.

This story isn't really a 'rated-R' story, it just has to do with paranormal things and tragic deaths. However, to Liz, this probably would be a red flag. Remember when I posted Life As A Schizophrenic? (Still going to change the name. It sounds like someone's lame idea of a sitcom title.) Liz told me that some parents may not want their eight-year-olds reading it, so she ended up deleting my latest chapters. At first I freaked, because although I had most of the chapters saved on my computer, a couple of them I did not. Turns out she hadn't deleted all of the chapters, and I was able to make copies of the ones I didn't have.

And yeah, I agree with BSH's attitude. It's nice to be able to post ghost/zombie/creepy things without worrying about the audience. It's not like many interesting things would have been posted on the message board.

      Can you imagine?-
""What was that noise?" Silly Susie wondered. Was it a rabbit bringing Easter treats to her door? Was it Santa delivering the rest of that Barbie collection he had forgotten to give to her for Christmas? Oh no! Silly Susie had to wait! Her mother had told her it wasn't safe to answer the door when she wasn't home!"

O.o Open the door Silly Susie. Open the door.

    3. Open the door... It's da boogeyman! OH NOEZ!! I don't enjoy writing kid-friendly shtuff. I'm a teen and I read teen and adult books so I write from what I, as a reader, likes. My audience also MUST be mature or I'll freak them out. Oh and of course have more than two brain cells.

    4. shtuff is just my way of being over dramatic with the word stuff, btw, not a typo.

    5. Made-up words FTW! XD (Excuse my Runescapeness.)

Yeah, it really pains me. I just don't understand how people can be children's book authors. How do they write that stuff without throwing up? You can't use any talent for writing you may have, it's all simplified. Writing is a form of art. Sure, little kids need books, but slapping together the words 'said' and 'happy' repeatedly and naming the book 'Ben the Blender' is not the most artistic thing in the world. Sure, I can understand someone writing a couple of children's books for the sake of the kids, but why would you actually want a career revolving around freaky cartoons and cheesy plots?

    6. Did you just say runescape? It's fine my brother and I used to play it.

I feel sorry for the children's book authors. In class when we have writing assignments most of them end up terrible, since i can't use "big" words. It pains me. If I had to write kids books I would write two then never pick up a pencil again.

    7. Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be "R", but even PG stuff sets Liz off. :P

Yes, BSH, no "KID-FRIENDLY" CRAP! YAY! Let's celebrate! :D

    8. Um... BSH....? I only 1/3 of a brain cell... Does that mean I can't read ur incredible stories anymore? :O

    9. Lol. You can still read them. You definitely do not have 1/3 of a brain cell. If you did the only word you would know is, "Ugh." Lol

  2. O.O I don't have the slightest shred of an idea as to who you are, and it is not exactly of my nature to follow random blogs.

  3. Now that I've seen your blog...O stultus sanguinum psittacus.

I hope this is not an indication that I am not a Godly person. (It may not be your intention, but it is implied by the glaring fact that you posted on this particular post.)
